The Right Size DOES Matter

Around 80% of women seem to be wearing the wrong bra size. Makes sense, because measuring can be a tricky thing, therefore most women just don’t attempt and go by their instinct which in most cases is a cup size too big or too small.
Bra sizes are generally hard to determine, taking weight fluctuations and such into consideration.
So how do you measure your bra size?
For the bandsize:
- The best thing to use is a tape measure. With your arms down, run it horizontal underneath your breasts and take measurement.
- If you get an even number, simply add 4. If the number is odd, add 5.
For the bra size:
- To get a fairly accurate measurement, you should measure loosely around the fullest part of your chest and round this up to the nearest whole number.
Now do the Maths for your cup size:
- You’ll get your cup size by substracting the bandsize from the bra size measurement:
- less than 1 inch = AA cup
- 1 inch = A cup
- 2 inches = B cup
- 3 inches = C
- 4 inches = D
- 5 inches = DD or E (see Tips)
- 6 inches = DDD or EE or F
- 7 inches = DDDD or EEE or FF or G
It’s always good if you get the chance to actually try on a bra before you purschase it to make sure it does fit. Bras can come in so many variations and even though you might know your exact bra size, it is sometimes difficult to tell whether it’s gonna fit or not.
