So I have come across some pretty horrendous album covers recently, now I thought it’s time to look for some nice ones. I have to say to the Blake Lewis cover, I’m by no means a fan of his and I still think the cover looks dirt cheap and odd, however, to be fair I think he was probably the most charismatic out of the whole lot of American Idol contestants. Just my opinion, but like they say, beauty (as well as ugliness) lies in the eye of the beholder.

Back to a few of my favorite album covers and I think they’re beautiful:

  An iconic album: This one’s made a bold statement.

Nirvana – Nevermind

  I like Björk, but I couldn’t listen to her music everyday, just one of those things. I like the album cover a lot, not just because of the colors but it’s got charm and the techno-geisha look suits her well.

  OK, the Beatles maybe not everyone’s taste BUT almost everyone will immediately recognize this album cover. What is so endearing about this is the timeless pop-art concept, dig it out anytime and it’s still funky.
