Trading Newspapers In For Websites
I cannot remember the last time I picked up a newspaper to read it and I don’t think I have ever bought one. Yet I still stayed fairly up to date with current events and news. With the Internet on a constant rapid grow, do we still need newspapers? If you’re a subscriber to news websites or go online daily to read the latest news, you will already know what’s happening before the next paper comes out, so you’ll hardly buy it, right?
Online vs. offline
Even though you will find everything in more that’s in printed in a paper on the Internet, not everyone, the older generation in particular, has 24 hour access. I’m sure there’s also people who think the web is one big disturbance and limit their time spent online. So I guess even though figures for newspaper readers might have gone down, I’m sure the papers will stick around for quite a while.
