Oh You Yummy Things
Hello, my name is Tamara and I’m a foodaholic. I love food and unlike lots of other women I actually love cooking as well although I wouldn’t say that I’m always particularly good at it. But hey I try. So today I’m going to do some baking, I found a nice recipe for an apple loaf, which is gonna be fun I think. Anyway, as a dedicated food lover I spend quite some time looking for yummy food pictures and of course recipes and every once in a while I find some real gems, just like these. Just want to share some I really want to try some time soon:
I found this blog which is basically about someone’s daily breakfast, pretty pictures and I like this one in particular:
simply breakfast loving the idea, got me inspired to start a similar blog
The next one is a
recipe found on Anne’s food, I really dig her food, she has amazing recipes and I’m a devoted subscriber. This looks delicious and ridiculously simple: Baked Apples
This simple baked apple makes a wonderful dessert on a cold day. Serve it with cold vanilla sauce, or ice cream.
Baked Apple
1 apple, peeled and cored
1-2 tsp butter
1-2 tbsp almonds, chopped
2-3 tsp spice sugar (or use a mix of cinnamon and sugar if you don’t have any spice sugar at hand. But you *should* make some!)Place the apple in a small oven-proof dish. (I use ramekins from Le Creuset.) Push butter and almonds into the hole. Top with the rest of the almonds, if you like me can’t fit them all inside. Sprinkle with spice sugar. Bake at 175°C for about 30 minutes, or until the apple is soft.
And another nice one from Tartelette, this looks just gorgeous: Pumpkin Praline Tartelettes With Butter Pecan Ice Cream
