The Golden Compass, Antireligious Propaganda?

Yesterday I watched the trailer for “The Golden Compass” and didn’t really know what to make of it. It’s based on the book by atheist Philip Pullman and apparently the Catholic League’s got a bit of a problem with the flick.
They’re claiming that the movie is antireligious propaganda designed to steer children away from the Church. Nicole Kidman stars along side Daniel Craig. I’m not a fan of his but I reckon it’s gonna be interesting to see Kidman play an evil villain.
