It’s Not All Armani and Gucci on eBay
I like the fact that you can buy almost anything on eBay, I guess that’s why I browse it almost every day just like millions of other people.
It’s not only a great place to grab a bargain, but has also become a haven for fraudsters, criminals and counterfeiters. You’re pretty safe with common items but it comes to brands you should be extra careful.
In fact, I would even go so far as to say, don’t buy luxury brands on eBay. About two weeks ago, the jeweller Tiffany and Co, sued eBay after discovering that nearly 3 quarters of items claiming to be originally from its stores are fake.
It’s not really news I guess, but it’s an issue that persists. Unfortunately. Pick eBay if you want a good copy, buy from the actual store if you want the r€al thing.
