Exciting news for anyone interested in the Bedfordshire University. The uni will be recruiting new students, starting on the 14th of August. The University of Bedfordshire – Clearing 2008 is a great chance to get into one of the amazing courses such as the BA Hons English Studies.

Bedfordshire has an excellent reputation for it’s high quality teaching and has also been rated top among new universities in 2003 and 2004. So this is an opportunity you shouldn’t let pass. Just check out the Clearing 2008 website or contact them on 0800 013 0925.

There you have it. I like Gordon Ramsay. Although I’m not always keen on the recipes, his tv shows are quite entertaining.
Gordon Ramsay is known for his foul language and has now said the food at Buckingham palace tasted like shit.
‘You don’t actually get to know who’s cooking for the Queen – but I’d never employ him because the food was s***,’ Ramsay told the audience. ‘I’d never give him a job.’

‘The food was s*** but she was lovely. Unfortunately you’ve got to go through the ceremony with the canapés which are just absolutely, shockingly s***.

‘They looked prehistoric, like 300 years old, at Buckingham Palace.’
I think that pretty much says it all.

I don’t personally have a strong opinion on t-shirts with slogans or messages of any kind. I think there’s plenty of aweful ones out there and also lots of witty ones.
Sometimes though, these very t-shirts can get you into trouble: Lapriss Gilbert was forced to leave a Social Security office because she was wearing a “Lesbian.com” shirt.

As she headed for a line to pick up a Social Security card for her son, Gilbert was stopped by a guard who said her T-shirt, naming an educational and resource Web site for gay women, was offensive.

She said the guard, who works for a private company hired by the Department of Homeland Security, demanded that she leave the building or face arrest.

Offensive? I really don’t think so. Well I guess this would be the kind of reaction you’d expect if you’d try to enter a church whose strong believes condemn homosexuality but a social security office? Whatever happened to tolerance?
